Free 411 Information on your Cellphone

Did you know that some of the cellphone carriers charge upto $2 for a single 411 information request? Simply a ridiculous ripoff, especially since you can get the same information at no charge except for your using your minutes like any other call.

The two I use are:

1 (800) 411 SAVE

Both require you listen to very brief (typically 10 seconds or less) advertisement or "special". Not bad...10 seconds of your time for saving upto 2 Washingtons per call. I use them so often that I have them pre-programmed into my phone as 411 and 411 part 2. Even better, most people get weekends free so these calls except for the 10 seconds of your time are also free...pretty saavy!
